I was talking with a non-Christian guy recently who was reeling from a relational disconnect he had with his Christian brother over differing opinions on this issue and he was grieving the loss of connection between them.  Even though he respects his brother and his faith, his posture was so black and white it did irreparable harm to their relationship.  I wish I had read this article before we talked because I would have just sent him the link.
