This is the question that nagged me for a long time and eventually led to me writing my book, Unchained. Time and again, I’ve encountered Christians who live as if giant shackles have been placed on their souls. The reality that “for freedom Christ has set us free” (Galatians 5:1) didn’t seem like a reality. Too many people live with an anemic definition of freedom and its keeping them in chains.
